OUT AGAINST EXCLUSION citizen is a platform that emerged from a group with long experience in social volunteering. Continuing to promote its online petition (Demonstrations against closing the Guadalquivir Hall as temporary shelter, 2008) and participation (annual asleep in the street for the Homeless Day) promotes the self-employed in Seville first COUNTING THE HOMELESS.
These are human beings living on our side, who have sustained the successive loss of their bond and labor. Low self-esteem and rejection that lead them from recovering their social skills. The difficulties of access to a stable roof, to health care or simple end to set personal safety exclusion as more extreme in today's society.
The choice of the term "homeless" is not an empty concession to political correctness, but denotes a strategy in the fight for recognition. Not so much what they are but how they come to be and, above all, the non-place where they are. Thus, we must strive to reveal how and where they are joined.
